The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) reported that there were 75,000 jobs created in the month of May, which was much weaker than the 180,000 expected. Additionally, there were negative revisions to the previous two months. March was revised lower by 36,000 jobs and April was revised lower by 39,000 jobs for a net total of negative 75,000 revision, which added even further to the weakness of today’s number.
