Pending Home Sales, which measures signed contracts on existing homes and is a good leading indicator for Existing Home Sales, were up 1.2% in November. This reading was stronger than expectations of a 1% gain. Year over year, Pending Home Sales rose from 4.4% to 7.4%. Pending Home Sales remain at very strong levels, even in the face of a lack of inventory and higher prices.
